Cheryl Ottenritter
Senior Mixer and Creative Director of Ott House Audio

Cheryl has over twenty years of audio experience. She is a member of the Motion Picture Sound Editors Guild, Cinema Audio Society and the Audio Engineering Society. Cheryl has graced the doors of some of the most prestigious studios from New York to Washington D.C. and has worked on projects for PBS, National Geographic, Smithsonian Channel and Discovery. She specializes in surround environments and streamlining workflows, including permanent museum exhibits. Cheryl also has years of working on national advertising campaigns. After over a decade in the game, it wasn’t until 2006 when she was able to forge out with her husband and business partner, John, to establish Ott House Audio.

Cheryl has always been an audio geek. During her college years she played clarinet in the Auburn University Marching Band and to this day she remains a loyal Tiger. It’s a full house in Kensington, Maryland where Cheryl hangs her headphones. When the Ott pack is near you’ll hear them long before you see them! Husband John and daughters Madeleine and Zoe keep things interesting for Cheryl long after she leaves the studio.
