How to Design Better Motion Graphics with Adobe After Effects (double) DETAILS

We’ll start this session by analyzing some example projects, so we can dissect exactly what techniques and tools were used to make them successful. So, just like in the creative process, we’ll start our projects with a clear direction for what we’ll be creating. We’ll explore the various 2D & 3D tracking tools available in After Effects, as well as create some guidelines for when to use each different tool. Then it’s time to flatten things out and explore some of the popular tools and techniques used to create that flat 2D animated look. Starting with type animation, we’ll jump right into animating shape layers, then sequence multiple layers to create dynamic repeating shapes and patterns. Then we’ll look at how we can use Cinema 4D Lite’s Cell Renderer to create that 2D look with the ease of using 3D elements.
