Justine Adelizzi is a Public Affairs Specialist in the Office of the Secretary at the U.S. Department of Transportation. Her responsibilities include new media development, event planning, and press support for U.S. Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood. She is the creator and producer of the "Faces of Distracted Driving" and "On the Go with Ray LaHood" video series. Justine received her undergraduate degree in political science and journalism from New York University and earned a master's degree in political management from The George Washington University.

Arun Chaudhary, Official White House Photographer, Obama Administration
Arun Chaudhary was the first Official White House Videographer, a position created for him at the beginning of the Obama administration. He traveled extensively with the President, capturing public events and behind-the-scenes moments as well as producing and packaging presidential tapings for the Internet and broadcast television. Chaudhary is the creator and architect of "West Wing Week," the first-ever online video diary of the White House. During his tenure, he wrote, produced, shot and edited over 63 episodes of West Wing Week, documenting the President through his rigorous weekly agenda. He also directed many tapings of the Weekly Address. Chaudhary was a key member of Barack Obama’s New Media team during the 2008 campaign. As the New Media Road Director, Chaudhary oversaw the team responsible for capturing the day-to-day life of the future president in video and stills. He and his team set a new standard in documenting history, delivering crucial images to the public from the road in real time. Before joining the Obama team, Chaudhary worked in film in New York and was part of the NYU Graduate Film Department faculty. He got his MFA in Filmmaking from NYU and his BA in Film Theory from Cornell University. He has been profiled by the New York Times, the BBC, National Journal, Politico, Fortune, and many political websites, and led a Frog design mind seminar at NYU with Fast Company’s Ellen McGirt. He lives in Washington, D.C., with his wife and son.

Steve Cooperman, Product Manager, Panasonic Solutions Company
Steve is responsible for implementing product marketing and development strategies for Panasonic's professional P2 family of 1080p HD camcorders (including the upcoming AG-3DP1 P2 3D camcorder), P2 memory cards, recorders and workflow tools. Steve also manages Panasonic's new AVCCAM Recorder and POVCAMs (point of view) camera, as well as production monitors, including 3D models. Steve has launched some of Panasonic's most innovative products and technologies, including the P2 HD VariCam® cinema camcorders and P2 Mobile. He also drove marketing strategy on the AVC-Intra 100 compression codec (H.264 High 10 / High 4:2:2 Intra Profile), which provides master video quality, along with the efficiency of a file-based P2 workflow. He has worked closely with leading film, broadcast, post production and multimedia organizations in finding the perfect blend of cost / workflow efficiency and high quality. Steve serves as a speaker and presenter on panels at film festivals, broadcast and media industry events. He graduated from California State University-Northridge with a Bachelor of Arts in Television and Film and he has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

Jan is Panasonic Broadcast’s Product Line Business Manager for the company’s growing line of AVCCAM camcorders, including two of the most highly anticipated camera introductions of recent years, the AG-3DA1 3D HD camcorder and the AG-AF100, the first professional micro 4/3-inch video camcorder optimized for high-definition video recording. An industry veteran of 35 years and a Panasonic employee since 1986, Jan has been instrumental in the launch of many of the company’s most successful products including the popular AG-HVX200, the industry’s first solid-state handheld professional video camcorder; and more recently the AG-HPX500 shoulder-mount, AG-HPX170 handheld and the AG-HPX300 shoulder-mount P2 HD camcorders. Luis E. Estrada is solution marketing manager for Harmonic, Inc. based in Atlanta, Georgia. In his 30-year career, Mr. Estrada spent the first ten as an Information Technology professional for IBM Corporation. He was responsible for large applications and systems development, network architecture, project management, and IT consulting. In 1991, IBM assigned Mr. Estrada to the Olympic Games project. Through the various Olympic Games between 1991 and 1998, he was responsible for the development and deployment of IT technologies to support the World’s broadcasters, international sports federations and the Press. He held various positions within the Olympic organizing committees and relocated to the countries where the Games were conducted.

Editing since the mid 90s, he has worked on numerous corporate/industrial projects, regional and national commercials, music videos and supervising editor on a 35mm independent feature length films His work has been in festivals, on DVD and on television. Editing and instruction clients include all three major networks, Letterman, Conan O'Brien, ESPN, all four branches of the military and many Fortune 500 clients. Teaching both nationally and internationally for Future Media Concepts, he specializes in post production, focusing on subject such as: Editing, High Definition, Standard Definition, DV, DVD Production, Workflow, Color Correction, Compression and Graphic Compositing. Some of the solutions he's certified to teach include products from Apple, Avid, Adobe and Autodesk. Jeff is a entertaining and energetic seminar instructor, speaking on average over fifty sessions a year at various shows. Danny Peters is Creative Services Director for Quantel, based in Los Angeles. He is a trained Television Producer and Editor – a graduate of Plymouth College of Art & Design, and University of London. He has spent most of his career helping to introduce new non-linear technologies for broadcast and Post – Production workflows. His main focus for the last three years has been helping Quantel to successfully implement 3D Post-Production in North America with the Pablo toolset. More recently his attention has been on new global Broadcast workflows with the introduction of Quantels’ QTube a cloud-based solution for remote production. Prior to his current position, he was on the Marketing Team at Pinnacle Systems, a Director at Visible World Inc., and Head of Worldwide Editing at Quantel UK. Ian Robinson is an instructor, designer and photographer. In his years of experience as a broadcast designer, he has worked with such clients as Discovery Communications and National Geographic International. His design experience translates directly into his courses. He has authored multiple titles on Motion and Cinema 4D for Lynda.com and teaches video game design and animation at George Mason University. Abba Shapiro is an award-winning writer/producer/director with over 25 years' experience in video and film production. His production company, Shapiro Video & Multimedia, works in every format from DVCAM to HD to 35 mm film. Abba has done work for a wide range of commercial, corporate, and federal clients, including USA Today, The Associated Press, NASA, The CW, and the Department of Defense.
In addition to doing production work, Abba is a lead instructor for Apple's Pro Video Applications Certified Training Program. He is a coauthor of the advanced editing tips and tricks book, Final Cut Studio on the Spot. Douglas Spotted Eagle is a giant in the video and audio industries, having received Grammy, Emmy, DuPont, Peabody, and many other awards. His music is heard in a wide range of films from "Last Samurai" to "Star Wars-Ewok" cartoons. His biggest project of 2005 is his musical compositions for PBS monster "The War that Made America," and in 2006 contributed several score pieces to "Lost Landscapes, another PBS full-run, which has been nominated for an Emmy. Spot may also be found in the various forums as a host on subjects from compositing, HDV, Sony Vegas, to audio engineering. He also has won many awards for his documentaries, including "Toubat: A Journey of the Native American Flute" and "The Way of the Powwow." His Azee' Choo'nii'gii' is the first film produced in the Dine' language. Douglas has authored several books, the first of which was published world-wide when he was 18 years of age. His technical books include subjects such as Apple's Soundtrack, Sony's Vegas, Adobe's Encore, and DV Basics, and author of the industry best-selling "HDV: What You NEED to Know," and "Instant Vegas." As a VASST trainer, Douglas has been around the world several times over. Yossy studied Film and Television at Tel-Aviv University. He started his editing career cutting film on a Steenbeck, then migrated to Online A/B Roll suites, and moved on to Non-Linear Editing on Avid, Final Cut Pro & Premiere. His editing experience spans from documentaries, to TV shows, and Corporate videos.
He served as one of the editors, and Associate Producers for 'Unsettled', the film which received the Grand Jury Award for best documentary at the 2007 Slamdance Film Festival awards. His work for television includes, 'The Best of Nature', color correcting the 25th Aniversary Show of the 'Nature' program, that aired on PBS, as well as editing segments for BetterTV, and comedy shows and news magazines aired on Israeli TV channels. His corporate experience includes working for clients such as NYSE, CIT, Tiffany's, and Salvation Army.
Based in NY, he is certified by Apple and Avid, and teaches all levels of Avid Media Composer, and Final Cut Pro as well as Sountrack Pro. Yossy presents regularly at conferences including NAB's Post|Production World, Post|Production New York, Digital Media DC, and the Avid Government Training Symposium, and has written articles for Videography Magazine.

Andrew Thomas, VP of Sales, Rogers Sportsnet
Andrew obtained a BAA from the Ryerson University RTA program in 1989 while working at the House of Commons Broadcast Centre in Ottawa. He spent 10 years with Patterson-Partington Productions doing audio, switching, editing, mounting cameras on race cars, designing a 16 camera fiber-optic production truck and technical producing large multi-camera sporting events. He helped launch CTV (now Rogers) Sportsnet in 1998, an HD channel in 2005, an HD file based facility in 2008, the Vancouver 2010 Olympics and most recently is working on extending remote file based production and implementing a BMS system for Rogers TV properties. He also participates on the Advisory Board for the Television Broadcast Program at Loyalist College and is a manager of the Toronto section of the SMPTE.

Paul has more than 13 years of experience in social media and online marketing. As a self-proclaimed, clear-eyed optimist, he believes in the power of the Internet to change markets...and change the world.

In the course of his career, he has taken on prominent communications, marketing and business development roles as founder, along with his wife, Gretchen, of the wildly popular show, MommyCast, whose prominent tag line is: “Holding the World Together, One Child at a Time.”

MommyCast has won the “Best Family & Parenting Site,” in 2007 & 2008, and was voted Top Podcast by Apple iTunes in 2008. Paul and MommyCast, in 2010, have launched their new show, MommyCast Latina. Paul is also responsible for the MommyCast representation by The Wm. Brad Wensley, VP of Sales, Quantel, Inc.
Brad has been working in the film and broadcasting industries since 1979. Having started his career as a program director with a regional cable provider, he rapidly moved into broadcasting with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) as a technical director, and then a director of news. During his tenure at both CBC and Global Television, Brad has worked in almost every position possible, learning all roles in production of broadcast, commerical and film production along the way. During his experience with broadcasting, Brad quickly learned that his true love resided in editing and special effects. His introduction to the special effects genre generated over a decade of experience on effects platforms such as Shake, AfterEffects, Flame and Inferno. During his time as a freelance effects artist, Brad has completed hundreds of special effects shots, along with hundreds of television commercials. Near the turn of the century, Brad moved to New York and focused his efforts on working with New York production company, Studio 57, where he not only worked on a variety of short and long form material, but also finished hundreds of television commericials including the special effects supervision of the Nike commercial "Tronathon". Brad continued to hone his skillset with the addition of 3-D editing, effects and stereography with Quantel as a Senior Product Specialist. In this role, Brad had regularly contributed to projects through consultation and training including assisting with the completion of the Kenny Chesney feature concert film "Summer In 3-D", released through Sony Pictures. As of August 2011, Brad has turned his focus to sharing his understanding of workflows and technology with customers as Vice President of Sales for Quantel. In this role, Brad works with current and future customers of Quantel in building amazing workflow and technology solutions in both broadcast and post-production environments.

Luisa Winters, Certified Instructor, Future Media Concepts
Luisa Winters is an internationally celebrated instructor, presenter, and musician. An accomplished videographer, editor, 3D animator and graphics designer, she has created and edited scores of broadcast video and web projects for corporate, government, and educational, commercial and private clients.
An accomplished violinist, Luisa was, at the age of 13, a full-time member of the National Symphony Orchestra in the Dominican Republic. While attending the legendary Peabody Conservatory (in Baltimore, MD), Luisa learned from master musicians: Henryk Szeryng, Berl Senofski, Aarond Rosand, Charles Libove, and Leon Fleisher, among others.
Expressing her art in digital form, Luisa became an editor and motion graphics artist in 1985, and has been performing both arts full-time since that point in time. Luisa was the Adobe Premiere Pro Technical Chair for the Post-Production Conference at the 2008 NAB convention in Las Vegas.
Luisa is the author of Total Training for Adobe After Effects CS4 - Essentials (DVD), Absolute Training Premiere Pro Essentials (DVD), Adobe Premiere for Videographers (DVD) and Scores of magazine articles on Adobe Production Premium techniques (in English and Spanish).
